Who runs this site
Student Housing Radar is a small independent student project created to help students discover available accommodation in cities such as Bruges and Kortrijk. It is not affiliated with Kotwest, iKot, Howest, VIVES, KU Leuven, or any landlord.
What data is shown
The site summarizes factual information from public listing pages: source name, listing link, price, availability, city/area, approximate map coordinates, surface, contract length and basic amenities. The site may show one source-hosted image per listing as a cover preview.
What data is not republished
The public dataset does not republish landlord names, phone numbers, email addresses, full listing descriptions, passport data, student documents, or private messages. To contact a landlord, users should open the original listing on the source website.
Source images
Cover images are loaded from the original source website or its image CDN and are used only to help students recognize listings. If you own a listing or source website and want an image or listing removed, email danieljafarov@gmail.com.
Logs and analytics
This MVP does not intentionally use cookies, tracking pixels, advertising trackers, user accounts, or analytics. The web server may still keep basic technical access logs, such as IP address, requested URL, timestamp and user agent, for security and debugging.
Takedown and correction requests
If you are a landlord, listing owner, or source platform and want a listing removed, corrected, or attributed differently, contact danieljafarov@gmail.com. Please include the listing URL and a short explanation.
